Since 1964, Putnam County Memorial Hospital has been serving the medical needs of Putnam County and the surrounding area. We have a strong dedication to the principles which have made this community such a great place to live. We strive to provide the level of care we would expect for our friends and family, because often that is exactly who we are caring for. At the same time we must look to the challenges facing small hospitals in a changing healthcare environment and respond to today's needs. The  services we provide continue to evolve to meet the needs of the people we serve. And as demonstration of our commitment to providing for the future health care needs of the community, PCMH has begun a 21,000 square foot expansion.

Providing All Levels of Care

We are able to provide many levels of care from acute in-hospital care to many outpatient services.  In response to changing healthcare needs we now provide skilled care for those who no longer require in-hospital care but still need nursing care before returning home as is often the case after surgery or a serious illness. The facility is designated a Critical Access Hospital and licensed by the Missouri Department of Health.

Our Emergency Room is available 24 hours a day and is staffed with by a highly qualified staff of providers and nurses.

Our full-time physicians, W.S. Casady, D.O.; Lee Parks, D.O.; Dawn Fairley, D.O.; and Dawn Stout, FNP are available on a daily basis to diagnose and treat your family's ailments. Working with them are several visiting physicians which provide regular outpatient clinics and hospital services in a variety of specialty areas including: Dr. McIntire, Surgery Dr. Jackson, Rheumatology Dr. Tobler, OB/GYN Dr. Evans, Pathology Dr. Morasco, Pathology Dr. Usmani, Pulmonology Dr. Holte, Podiatry Sarah Eber, Dietary Educator

We are constantly updating our services to provide a higher level of care. We have recently added teleradiology / telemedicine equipment which allows a specialist at a referral hospital to view your x-rays, other tests, and consult with your physicians while you remain here.
