Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine
KCOM is the founding college of the osteopathic profession. Founded in 1892 in Kirksville, Mo., the college has a full-time enrollment of 570 osteopathic medical students, who represent 40 states. The College was recently recognized in The New Physician magazine, which identified KCOM as one of the leading medical schools in the nation for producing primary care physicians based upon a survey conducted by the American Medical Student Association Foundation's Generalist Physician in Training.
