The Ellis Fischel Mammography Van is scheduled to be at the First Christian Church in Unionville on September 2 - 5, 2008 from 8:15 am - 3:00 pm to provide breast cancer screenings.  Screenings include mammography, breast exams and educational materials.  Ellis Fischel staff will bill your Medicaid (not MC+), Medicare or private insurance for screenings fees.  Free mammograms and pap smears are available if certain income and age guidelines are met.  For more information or to make an appointment contact the Putnam County Health Department at 660-947-2429.

The Mid-MO Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is holding "Creative You" discussion forums, an innovative community program for persons in the earlier stages of memory loss.  The forums will be held at St. Andrew's Apartments, 500 S.
